TV OB (Outside Broadcast) Facilities

Full-service mobile broadcast solutions for live events. Our fleet of OB trucks is designed specifically for the rigorous demands of the South African broadcasting landscape, engineered for stadiums, arenas, concert venues and everything between.

Each unit deploys with vision mixing, multi-channel replay, graphics, comms and a broadcast engineering crew that owns the signal path from lens to line.

Four synchronised camera inputs encode to HEVC or H.264, including in HDR, while Emmy® awarded SST transport with adaptive retransmission and forward error correction keeps every feed stable.

Six globally compliant 3G/4G/5G modems, plus WiFi, Ka and Ku satellite and public internet fallback, with low-latency video returns, teleprompter feeds and bi-directional IFB intercom between the field and production.

Editing Facilities

Comprehensive post-production support for studio productions, reality television and live-event turnarounds. Our edit suites share central storage with ingest, so same-day highlights and daily episodes move without drive-swapping.

Inside the facility

This one is ours, not a rental: a working suite with a multiviewer wall carrying preview, program and per-camera feeds with audio metering, above dual operator displays, vision switching, camera control and a broadcast audio desk.

It means a multi-camera session can be line-cut and recorded live in the room, then turned around as highlights or full episodes on shared storage, without a drive ever leaving the building.

DSNG Uplink Services

Secure and robust satellite news gathering and transmission. Our Ku-band DSNG vehicles put breaking news, sport and events on air from anywhere in the region, with redundant encoders and amplifiers so the path stays up when it matters.

Transmissions are booked, monitored and supported by our 24/7 operations desk, with hybrid satellite-plus-IP contribution from bonded-cellular field encoders when the story demands it.

Streaming Services

Reliable, high-definition streaming tailored for modern digital platforms. We run broadcast discipline into online delivery: hardware encoding, SRT contribution, redundant paths and an operator watching every output for the duration.

One feed in, every platform out, with graphics, pre-rolls and simulcast to social and web players. Field contribution runs on bonded-cellular encoders like the Haivision Pro460 from our rental fleet, so broadcast-quality feeds reach the stream from anywhere.
